GUIDELINES ON HANDLING SELF TEST KIT COVID-19

Covid-19 self test kit (STK) is already in the Malaysia market which can be bought from registered pharmacy or healthcare facilities. When doing the self testing the result need to be immediately entered into MySejahtera be it positive, negative or invalid. The kit is a self testing screening tool to establish one’s status on Covid-19 quickly and more easily.

It is essential that before buying the kit, please ensure to check if the kit is approved by Medical Device Authority (MDA). The list of approved STK is updated in the MDA website from time to time.

The Covid-19 STK can be used :
• As a screening tool to establish one’s status to Covid-19
• By person under investigation (PUI) who has clos contact history with person infected with Covid-19
• For screening tools such as at International Entry Points, interstate travel, pre-employment and pre-entrance to higher education institution.
