Serdang, January 7 2026 – The Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology (FSKTM) organized the “Wellness Open Day: Your Health, Your Power” program at the Block C Foyer, FSKTM. The event was joined by the Public Health Services Division, the Dental Health Division, and the MQUIT program from Pusat Kesihatan Universiti (PKU). Its objective was to raise awareness among faculty members about the importance of maintaining good health while providing structured support to quit smoking through the national MQUIT initiative.

The MQUIT team from PKU also participated, comprising a Medical Assistant, a Health Care Assistant, and an Executive Officer. Their involvement enabled students and staff to access counseling, psychological support, and structured treatment to assist them in their journey to quit smoking.

The MQUIT program offers smokers the opportunity to take the first step toward quitting with professional guidance. This effort not only enhances individual health but also protects families and communities from the dangers of secondhand smoke.

The Wellness Open Day reaffirmed FSKTM’s commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles and fostering a smoke-free campus community.
