UPM, November 30, 2017 - University Health Center (PKU) UPM today has received auditor visit for the upcoming mQuit tobacco control and prevention program that will be implemented at PKU. This visit aims to accredit PKU's preparation in terms of the facilities and capabilities of the PKU mQuit counselors, including mQuit-certified medical doctor, dentist, nurse and Medical Assistant.
The mQuit program is an initiative by the Ministry of Health Malaysia to improve the tobacco-free environment around the country. PKU's involvement in this campaign was the first since its inception. Strategik planning is underway to ensure that this program will have the best impact on creating a tobacco-free campus.
