22 April 22, UPM Serdang - University Putra Malaysia (UPM) has held the 2022 Earth Day Celebration at the UPM level to raise awareness among campus residents on environmental sustainability. The theme for this program is "Invest in Our Planet".

         The ceremony was officiated by the Vice Chancellor of UPM, Prof Dato 'Dr. Mohd Roslan Sulaiman. Also present was the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research and Innovation) of UPM, Prof. Dr. Nazamid Saari, UPM Chief Librarian, Mr. Muzaffar Shah Kassim and Director of the Center for Strategic and Corporate Relations, Prof. Dr. Azmawani Abd Rahman.

          A total of 4 staff from PKU were involved to make this activity a success at the PTJ level. There are more than 20 PTJs involved in this program including the Faculty of Engineering, Institute of Bioscience and Putra International Center (i-PUTRA).

     Hopefully with a program like this can increase the awareness of campus residents about the care of the earth to ensure universal harmony in the future.
