The University Health Center has received the 'Mquit Services' qualification certificate from the Selangor State Health Department following the submission of the certificate to UPM on 6 May 2019. The certificate is given in recognition of University Health Center as one of the location which offers service for quitting smoking in the campus.

In line with the government's efforts, the University's Health Center & UPM welcomed and supported the call by creating a Stop-Smoking Programme at the university level to help campus residents quit  this unhealthy behavior.
