Serdang, April 21 – A special briefing on the Public Sector Conducive Ecosystem (EKSA) was held at the Meeting Room, PKU to equip newly appointed auditors with a clear and better understanding of internal audit processes and their role in strengthening a conducive work culture across the public sector.
Organized by the EKSA Committee, the session emphasized the importance of auditors in ensuring compliance with EKSA standards, covering key aspects such as cleanliness, workspace arrangement, safety, documentation, corporate identity, and green practices.
The lead speaker and Facilitator of EKSA UPM Matron Nurhazalina Mohamed also highlighted that all auditors must remain objective and transparent during evaluations, while also offering constructive recommendations for improvement. “Auditors are not merely ticking boxes on a checklist; they are agents of change who ensure that a conducive work culture is truly practiced,” he said.
Participants were also introduced to a simplified audit process, which includes preparation of checklists, site inspections, recording of findings, and submission of official reports to the EKSA Committee.
With this briefing, organizers expressed confidence that new auditors will carry out their duties with greater assurance, consistency, and contribute positively to enhancing the corporate image of public sector organizations.
