Function

The Dental Service at the University Health Centre was established to provide dental treatment to students, staff, dependents, UPM citizens and UPM retirees. This service operates on an appointment system except for emergency cases. This service is operated by registered and experienced Dental Officers with the support of implementing staff such as Dental Therapists, Dental Surgery Assistants and Health Care Assistants.

Among the dental treatments offered are:-

• Dental Examination Scaling Treatment
• Tooth Extraction Treatment
• Dental Filling Treatment
• Root Canal Treatment (RCT) (Front Teeth)
• Wisdom Molar Extraction
• Intraoral X-ray 

DENTAL SERVICES REGISTRATION SYSTEM, UHC, UPM

The University Health Center's Dental Services offers both walk in and appointment based system.    During the registration process, clients are required to present their valid document of identity, such as UPM matric card (student) / UPM staff card (staff). 

Appointments are made on a specific date and time allocated only for treatments such as wisdom tooth removal, tooth extraction, root canal treatment and certain specific cases.

Clients are required to observe and follow the time and date of their set appointment for the comfort and benefit of all.
