Serdang, 16 April 2026 – The University Health Centre (PKU), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) organised a briefing session on Endowment, Donation and Contribution Management, delivered by the Centre for Enrichment and Prosperity (CEP) today.

The briefing, held from 8.30 a.m. to 12.00 noon at the Seminar Room, PKU UPM, aimed to provide exposure to university staff on the role of CEP as well as to introduce the latest Endowment, Donation and Contribution Guidelines (GPEDS).

The session was delivered by a panel of speakers from CEP, namely Pn. Besek Intan Zafina Binti Basok, Dr. Intan Nurdiah Binti Mohd Haris, and Mr. Mohd Rizzuan Bin Mohd Arif, who shared their expertise and experience in endowment and fund management.

The briefing was attended by officers and staff PKU directly involved in financial management and revenue generation. Participants were provided with comprehensive insights into the concept of endowment, methods of managing contributions, and the importance of adhering to established guidelines.

According to the organiser, this briefing is crucial in ensuring the alignment of funding strategies at the university level while enhancing the efficiency of fund management in a transparent and systematic manner. It also aims to strengthen staff understanding of the procedures for receiving and managing donations and contributions in line with university policies.

It is hoped that through this briefing, all parties involved will be able to apply the knowledge gained to strengthen the university’s income generation efforts and ensure more effective financial governance in the future.
