Function

The Pharmacy Service of UHC was set up to ensure customers receive the correct supply of medication as prescribed by the Medical Officer. There are 7 Assistant Pharmacists, Head Nurse, 2 Administrative Assistant and 2 Operational Assistants are assigned to ensure that the Pharmacy service is carried out with dedication.

The Pharmacy Service also has 3 units and each has different duties and functions as follows:-

• Pharmaceutical and Medical Supply Store
• Dispensary Unit
• Medication and Chronic Illness Patient Monitoring Unit
