Wish to quit smoking?
Let’s try 12 tips to stop smoking:
- Drink plenty of water – add lemon, lime/ice if you like
- Wash hands
- Delay the urge if you feel desire to smoke
- Take a deep breath
- Do some stretching/exercise
- Keep your hands busy – squeeze ball, play guitar, brush teeth, do some writing
- Chew something for example a bubble gum/sunflower seeds/raisins/carrot
- Avoid from feeling bored / Distract yourself from cigarette craving by reading, listening to music, doing a crossword puzzle
- Take frequent bath
- Avoid yourself from friends who smokes / other smokers
- Make a prayer for a strong will to quit smoking
- Practice meditating – pray, yoga and the like
