The 'OUTREACH PKU' program was initiated in 2014 under the Public Health Section (now General Health Services) with the objective to facilitate UPM staff with basic health screening to identify the risk of major Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD) namely Hypertension Disease , Diabetes and Obesity.
Amongst the activities conducted for this program are Blood Pressure Measurement, Body Mass Index Calcution, Body Fat Analysis, and Blood Glucose Measurent, with specially targeted Medical Consultation by our doctors. As an additional activity, ergonomic and posture care consultation are also made available by our certified Physiotherapists.
This program aims for participation from three Departments (PTj) per year, and it also acts as health awareness activity to promote healthy and safe lifestyle amongst the UPM community.
